3. Find a Client

This function is essentially the same as the CLASS menu item Search Clients. More information can be found here:

The following shows the CLSIS Screens and then explains where the equivalent fields and functions have ended up in CLASS.

1	Family Name/Family Name Alias	Search clients > Clients	Last Name, Other / Organisation Name	Last Name Search no longer requires Wildcards, so for e.g. Typing in ‘Smi’ will produce all the Smith / Smiths / Smithys etc. The ‘Other Name’ field will capture any data there which may include Alias’s, Nicknames, Middle names etc. This field is also for Organisation Names where the Client is of that Type.
2	First Name/First Name Alias	Search clients > Clients	First Name	As above, this field no longer requires Wildcards.
3	Suburb/Town/Locality	Search clients > Clients	Suburb
4	Postcode	Search clients > Clients	Postcode
5	Phone	Search clients > Clients	Not in CLASS Client search screen	This feature is available via the CLASS Conflict Check Screen.
6	Client ID	Search clients > Clients	Client ID
7	File No	Search Services >	File Number	Note – requires Search Services Screen, and may need to dragged into columns using ‘Customise/Customise Columns’ button on search screen
8	Client Type	Search clients > Clients	Client Type
9	Date of Birth	Search clients > Clients	Date of Birth	Format is dd/mm/yy or dd/mm/yy so for date 22 of June 1935, these searches will work: 22/6/35, 22/06/1935

11	Most recent activity date	Search Services >	Not in CLASS Client search screen	Use ‘Last Modified’ in Services Search screen

This functionality is the equivalent to the ‘Client Services‘ Tab available on each CLASS Client screen. Locate your client first, then click on the tab at the top of your screen. See more about this here:
