Improvements to DIY reports

This update changes the behaviour of DIY reports in order to improve speed and performance when handling very large sets of data. New features include:

A new drop down menu in the Filter Panel for selecting Additional Fields
Improved handling of requests for large amounts of data

Additional Fields on DIY Reports
What happened previously	What has changed
All fields, including less commonly utilised ones, were brought into the query of a DIY report. This made it difficult to run reports on very large amounts of data.	An Additional Fields drop down has been added to the Filter Panel for each DIY report This drop down is populated with fields relevant to that report which can be selected or selected as needed in order to run reports For a full list of which fields are available on which reports, and where those fields appear in CLASS, please see below.

Services Open At Start of Reporting Period in DIY Reports
What happened previously	What has changed
You could not previously report on services open at the start of a period in DIY reports	A new option has been added to the “Additional Reporting Dates” dropdown filter of all DIY Service reports called “Active Services” This filter will select all Court/Tribunal, Other Representation, and Dispute Resolution Services that have an Open Date before the Start Date and a Close Date that is either blank or during the reporting period.

Custom Fields on DIY Reports

Known issues related to this release

Issue	Update
The name “Active Services” is not reflective of what this option does	We are requesting a change to this name to reflect that this relates to services open at the start date of a reporting period
Ongoing Non-legal Support is not included in the “Active Services” date option	We are requesting this service type is added to reflect that non-legal casework may be relevant for reporting on this criteria.
