Informations along with referrals are both types of Services in CLASS, and are created from the menu: CLASS > New Intake. The New intake Workflow has five steps but Informations can be created directly from step 1. If Conflicts are found via the various CLASS conflict check methods, users are directed back to Step 1 of Intake, where the only services available will be Informations and Referrals. See more here:

By default, the creation of Informations and Referrals in CLASS will not result in the saving of identifiable information such as Names and addresses, or intake Notes. All these will be deleted upon the clicking of ‘Saving Service’. However, it is possible to change these default settings under certain circumstances, so if required Centre CLASS Administrators should discuss these settings with the CLASS Helpdesk team.
The following shows the CLSIS Screens and then explains where the equivalent fields and functions have ended up in CLASS.
