Community legal services assist people in our communities who face economic, social, or cultural disadvantage, and who are often experiencing multiple interrelated problems. Often, their legal problems affect their and their family’s entire life circumstances.
Centre staff and volunteers work incredibly hard to defend the rights of others, to educate the community about Australia’s legal system, and to change it for the better.
Working in the community legal sector provides an opportunity to work with everyday people, people experiencing discrimination and disadvantage, and their communities, and to a make a real difference.
