This is an established and ongoing role, reporting to the Principal Solicitor, and will be responsible for coordination and delivery of student legal clinics in partnership with the La Trobe University Law School. The clinics currently include divorce, wills and wishes and civil actions and provide law students with an opportunity to work directly with clients. The Senior Lawyer has supervision responsibility for junior lawyers and is a key senior member of the legal team who contributes to practice improvements. Your practice will include supervision of all clinic work, providing advice, limited case work and limited representation in divorce matters and maintaining a limited generalist legal practice in matters which fall within the legal service’s Case Management Guidelines as capacity allows.
