Solicitor – Katherine Women’s Information and Legal Service – NT

As a solicitor with the Katherine Women’s Information and Legal Service (KWILS), you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and gender diverse people across the Katherine and Big Rivers Region. Working under the guidance of the Principal Legal Officer, you will:

  • Provide high-quality, trauma-informed legal assistance, including advice, casework and representation
  • Support women and children to understand their rights, access justice and improve their safety
  • Deliver community legal education to build knowledge and empower the community
  • Contribute to systemic change through law reform and advocacy work
  • Work as part of a passionate, supportive team committed to culturally safe and holistic practice
