Philanthropy Manager – Justice and Equity Centre – Sydney NSW

The Justice and Equity Centre (JEC) is a leading social justice law and policy centre. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining our strategic relationships.

Your focus will include:

• Executing the fundraising strategy including monitoring, reviewing and revising for future years
• Developing, implementing and executing the donor stewardship plan
• Engaging with Executive leadership and Board members to lead donor stewardship
• Engaging and growing relationships with major donors
• Converting long term funders to untied, multi-year funding
• Implementing a bequest program
• Overseeing key fundraising activities that include events, appeals, trusts and foundations and corporate sponsors
• Managing and supporting the fundraising team by providing clear direction and development opportunities

Ideally, you have a track record in the for-purpose sector and demonstrated experience in:

• Major donor acquisition and stewardship
• Building and maintaining donor relationships
• Successfully executing strategic plans
