Inner Melbourne Community Legal is a community legal centre providing free legal services to people experiencing disadvantage across inner Melbourne. The centre works with clients affected by homelessness, family violence, mental illness, disability, over-policing and systemic inequality. The work combines casework, advocacy and law reform, with key programs including the Police Accountability Project and Health Justice Partnerships. This is a senior leadership role leading IMCL’s criminal law practice. You’ll oversee a team delivering high-quality legal services in summary crime and related matters, while also contributing to strategy, partnerships and advocacy. The role includes a caseload alongside supervision and practice leadership.
