Illawarra Legal Centre is a highly regarded community legal centre committed to promoting social justice and access to the law for people experiencing financial hardship, language barriers or other forms of disadvantage. The team of dedicated professionals provides free legal services, community education and advocacy to support individuals and strengthen the local community, working across a range of practice areas including employment, discrimination, victims’ support and generalist matters. The role focuses on supporting clients facing social and economic disadvantage. This position is primarily based in Wollongong, with travel to outreach locations and occasional evening work for advice sessions.
