The Whittlesea Community Legal Service (incorporated into Whittlesea Community Connections) is looking for an experienced Family Law/Family Violence lawyer to join a growing team of community lawyers. This collaborative legal team looks to meet the legal needs of the diverse community within the City of Whittlesea. This is a new role, which will support the expanding health justice partnership supporting women and new mothers. The role will be responsible for maintaining a specialist legal practice in family law and violence matters and provide supervision and up-skilling to junior lawyers. You will also be provided an opportunity to diversify your practice by working on generalist legal matters as capacity allows which fall within the service’s case management guidelines. Your practice will include providing advice, limited case work and limited representation in family law matters.
