This is a full-time two-year fixed-term contract. As Director of Mob Strong, you’ll lead a team of five to ten professionals, including solicitors and financial counsellors, in providing crucial support to vulnerable First Nations communities facing financial challenges. Your strategic leadership will not only ensure that Mob Strong Debt Help delivers accessible and effective services but also drives systemic change to benefit our communities. This position is open to both First Nations and non-First Nations leaders. If the successful candidate is not a First Nations person, they will be responsible for building Mob Strong’s capability with both existing and new resources. The goal is to ensure that the Director of Mob Strong can be filled by a First Nations individual by the end of the fixed term. This will ensure that the service can be fully First Nations-led and self-determining. The centre operates a hybrid working mode.
