Katherine Women’s Information and Legal Service is a specialist women’s legal service providing trauma-informed and culturally safe legal support across the Big Rivers region. The services’s work spans domestic, family and sexual violence, child protection, family law and victims of crime compensation. Guided by the 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, legal services are combines with with advocacy, law reform and community education to create lasting impact. This is a newly-created leadership role, offering the opportunity to grow into senior management while making a difference in women’s access to justice.
