The Law and Advocacy Centre for Women (LACW) is a not-for-profit community legal centre for women in Victoria, assisting women, trans and gender-diverse clients who are in or at risk of entering the criminal justice system. The focus of these roles is on providing legal advice and representation, including in-court advocacy, to clients in relation to criminal matters. LACW provides a wrap-around service to clients, addressing the underlying issues that have brought them into contact with the justice system, as well as providing legal advice and representation.
