The Community Outreach Lawyer/Clinical Supervisor will provide advice, casework and community legal education in areas of law relevant to the legal service with a focus on community outreaches and engagement with the local community. This role includes working into KLC’s Health Justice Partnership (HJP) with Prince of Wales Hospital/Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service and any existing and new community outreaches. The role also includes supervising evening advice sessions and working into KLC’s legal practice. The position primarily works in the community to ensure access to KLC’s service, fostering relationships, pathways and collaborations with the local community and community organisations across all aspects of KLC’s work. The legal service is looking for an experienced lawyer who has worked in the community before, as this role will involve mostly off-site work.
