The Solicitor/Clinical Supervisor will provide legal advice, casework and community legal education in areas of law relevant to the centre, with a focus on leading the centre’s family violence and family law work. The position will also supervise advice nights and attend community outreaches. The position works closely with UNSW Law and Justice students, teaching them in a best-practice clinical legal education model. The position is ongoing and full time. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced solicitor to make a meaningful impact through direct client work, student supervision, community engagement and law reform activities. Working across family violence and family law matters, you will provide high-quality legal assistance, contribute to community legal education initiatives and help strengthen access to justice for disadvantaged clients. You will play a key role strengthening the centre’s connections in the community especially around family violence.
