National Networks and Sector Support Coordinator – Community Legal Centres Australia – Sydney NSW

Full-time position based in Sydney with the national peak for community legal services. The role supports 160+ community legal services in the national sector. Two key areas of focus:

  • Managing the National Insurance Scheme, which provides insurance coverage for more than 100 legal centres. An understanding of insurance, while useful, is not required, as we contract an insurance brokerage company separately and the brokers source the coverage. This role focuses on supporting centres to engage with the scheme, managing applications from centres, fielding enquiries, and working closely with the brokers.
  • Supporting the sector’s thirteen networks, which bring together sector workers to focus on particular justice issues. The networks are important sources of expertise. Support may involve promoting networks, organising meetings, occasional minute-taking etc.

You’ll be helping bring people together to work on important justice issues. You’ll also be helping deliver insurance coverage that is highly valued by our sector. You’ll need high-level administrative skills and excellent communication skills. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply for this position.

Please address selection criteria (available in the job description) in your application.
