You are a solicitor with experience in legal practice working with disadvantaged and vulnerable clients. You will have a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, effectively managing competing demands and complex matters to achieve results for disadvantaged and vulnerable clients. Crucial to your success in this role is your high-level interpersonal and communication and negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to liaise and communicate effectively with staff, external stakeholders and clients with complex needs and from diverse backgrounds. In this role, you will manage a caseload, provide advocacy and prepare submissions on behalf of prisoners for consideration by the Parole Board. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with the Parole Planning Caseworker and Administrative Officer to deliver the Parole Legal Service and support clients through the parole process.
