Legal Director, Economic and Housing Rights – Westjustice – Werribee VIC

As Legal Director, Economic and Housing Rights, you will lead an innovative program focused on tenancy, consumer and civil law, while shaping systemic advocacy that addresses the root causes of economic injustice. You will:

• Lead the strategic direction and delivery of Westjustice’s Economic and Housing Rights Program
• Oversee legal practice management, compliance and risk, maintaining best-practice professional standards
• Drive systemic advocacy and law reform initiatives to address economic disadvantage, housing insecurity and barriers to justice
• Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing and values-aligned culture
• Build and strengthen partnerships across government, sector networks and community stakeholders to amplify impact
• Contribute to organisational strategy, funding growth and program sustainability through budget oversight and funding opportunities
