Dhurrawang Aboriginal Human Rights Program Cadet|Canberra Community Law|ACT

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a First Nations-led service that is making a meaningful difference in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the ACT. Dhurrawang is a program within Canberra Community Law, an independent community legal centre. Dhurrawang provides legal assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who live in Canberra and the surrounding regions regarding ACT public housing, social security and race discrimination. Dhurrawang is seeking an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander cadet who is committed to social justice and human rights, who is in either the second, third or fourth year of their law degree and can manage their time to work one full day (7.5 hours) per week with the Dhurrawang team.
