North-West CLC is seeking a generalist lawyer to join its team on a two-year contract based in Devonport. This varied and rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide legal advice and assistance, undertake casework and advocacy and deliver community legal education across a range of legal matters. Working closely with clients, community organisations and stakeholders, you will help improve access to justice and achieve positive outcomes. Candidates should have strong communication skills, sound legal judgment and a commitment to client-centred practice. The ability to work collaboratively while managing matters independently is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake meaningful legal work, develop a diverse practice and contribute to a respected community legal service making a genuine difference in North-West Tasmania. While post-admission legal experience is desirable, applications are encouraged from lawyers at all career stages.
