Company and Tax Law Solicitor, Financial Abuse Service|Redfern Legal Centre|NSW

This position will provide legal assistance to victim-survivors of financial abuse in business, company and tax law, and work collaboratively with social workers, a financial counsellor and other specialist lawyers including family law, credit and debt law and immigration law within an integrated model. The role offers a solicitor the opportunity to develop specialist skills in company and tax law as they intersect with financial abuse, an emerging issue with significant scope to contribute to systemic advocacy, policy and law reform. The solicitor will advise and assist victim-survivors coerced or pressured into company directorships or exposed to company or tax liabilities.
