Under the supervision of the Managing Solicitor of the Katherine Criminal Law Practice, provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients of Legal Aid NT charged with criminal offences. You will be able to work within a busy criminal law practice and work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team. You will be committed to delivering excellent service for clients and have a demonstrated knowledge of criminal law practice and procedures and experience in advising and representing clients in criminal law matters. Crucial in your success in this role is your high-level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to liaise and communicate effectively with staff, external stakeholders and clients with complex needs and from diverse backgrounds.
