Brief description: CAAFLU is looking for a Senior Lawyer to assist our PLO to provide constructive mentoring and supervision to our Legal team as well as legal and community legal education services to our communities in Central Australia and the Barkly regions.

CAAFLU is a holistic, multidisciplinary trauma informed organisation that provides legal advice, representation, support and other related services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims of family violence and sexual assault in target communities regarding family violence and related areas of law.

CAAFLU is looking for a Lawyer with at least four (4) years’ legal practice experience, including well developed technical ability to provide legal assistance in one or more of the following areas of law: Family Law, Child Protection, Domestic and Family Violence Orders and Victims of Crime Assistance.
