SCALES is an incorporated not-for-profit community legal centre providing free legal information, referrals, advice and advocacy to people from the southern coastal metropolitan area. Areas of law include:
SCALES partners with Murdoch University to host the Student Law Clinic and receives funding from the National Legal Assistance Partnership (NLAP) through the Department of Justice to provide wraparound, multidisciplinary specialist services to women experiencing family and domestic violence through the Family Violence Unit.
