Solicitor – Justice Support Centre – Bankstown NSW

This role joins a team of solicitors in a community legal centre that promotes access to justice for those disadvantaged by their social and economic circumstances and provides the opportunity for rewarding and constructive engagement on professional and community levels. The purpose of the position is to provide clients with timely, effective, and high-quality legal advice, information, and referrals. Provide legal assistance and representation to clients, conduct legal seminars and training and provide guidance to the community and community workers. You will also participate in the centre’s law reform activities and projects. Justice Support centre isvseeking a generalist solicitor with a commitment to social justice, and in-depth experience in the focus areas of law. Your experience with Victims Support claims and domestic violence will also be highly regarded. You must hold a current NSW Law Society Practising Certificate and be able to use your own vehicle for work when required.
