Kimberley Community Legal Service is looking for a Senior Solicitor who enjoys travelling and has experience working with remote Indigenous communities. As a Senior Solicitor, your role will be to respond to the emerging civil legal needs of clients in the region following the Fitzroy floods. This is a full-time position based in Fitzroy Crossing for two weeks and the other two weeks in Broome or Perth. The successful candidate will be required to work autonomously and within a team to deliver legal advice, information, advocacy, representation and education services to clients in the Fitzroy Valley and other parts of the West Kimberley. In addition, the Senior Solicitor will work with the Principal Solicitor based in Broome to develop a long-term plan for the streamlined delivery of legal services in the Valley.
