The Women’s Legal Centre ACT provides innovative community legal and social support services to women in Canberra.
WLC is a medium-sized practice and are leaders in trauma informed lawyering, primarily practicing in family, employment and discrimination, and migration law.
This role suits a strategic leader and mentor with deep legal practice knowledge and high-level technical skill.
Work in close collaboration with the CEO to lead the direction, management and supervision of WLC’s legal practice.
Build organisational capability, manage risk, compliance and the Centre’s reputation within the community sector and legal profession.
Canberra based – WFH flexibility – Relocation assistance.
Eligibility to hold an ACT Unrestricted Practicing Certificate is required.
