Financial Counsellor – Pilbara Community Legal Service – South Hedland

This position is a twelve- month contract maternity leave cover  starting May 2023. It will give you the opportunity to gain invaluable experience. The Pilbara has a unique and rich heritage and culture, with diverse Indigenous and multi-cultural heritage, spectacular landscapes and an abundance of places to visit and explore.

Key Accountabilities:

• Work with individuals and families to improve their financial situations by increasing client capacity to gain more skills and understanding in the area.
• Provide workshops on money management and financial literacy. Assist clients with HUGS and NILS applications
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders
