Board Member – Illawarra Legal Centre – Wollongong NSW

Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified and skilled people to join the Illawarra Legal Centre (ILC) Board. ILC is keen to hear from people who have a strong commitment to social justice and ensuring people can access their legal rights and who share ILC’s values of People First, Access and Equity, Relationships, and Fairness and Responsibility. ILC’s Board of Management play a pivotal role in governing the financial viability, risk and regulatory compliance of the Centre. The Board’s expertise guides ILC’s strategic growth and sustainability by ensuring systems and processes are in place to support the workforce in the delivery of high quality legal services. The Board of Management are all volunteers and bring a wide variety of skills and experience suited to the governance of the Centre. Subcommittees of the Board include the Financial Advisory Group and the Enterprise Agreement Subcommittee. Other Subcommittees may be developed as needed.
