The Aboriginal Community Access Worker supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients to access legal assistance from KLC. The Aboriginal Community Access Worker also maintains and develops culturally safe strategies to make sure KLC is accessible to Aboriginal and Torries Strait Islander clients,and helps to promote external links between KLC and the local Aboriginal community. This position works directly with the community at the centre office and in outreach locations, including clients’ homes and hospitals, therefore it is a requirement to have full vaccinations. Kingsford Legal Centre (KLC) is a community legal centre providing free legal advice and assistance to people who live, work or study in the Randwick and Botany Bay local government areas in NSW. The office is located at the UNSW campus in Kensington, on Gadigal and Bidjigal land.
