Susan, James and Samuel from CLCs Australia worked with Centres to South Australia to help shed some light about how to collect impactful and quality data through a series of face to face workshops.
These sessions helped both Centre staff and CLCs Australia better understand how we can all make improvements around data quality. We will now use this information to improve the guidance we provide to you. We want to thank the CLC community in South Australia for bringing their ideas and passion for the work they do to these workshops.
Using scenarios to work through how to record different types of services under the Data Standards Manual and discussing the best ways to ensure accurate collection of demographic data, these workshops helped to identify areas where there was confusion about data collection and to better understand the features of effective data collection.
