National position papers

Since 2018, Community Legal Centres Australia developed a number of National Position Papers on key areas of relevance to the community legal sector. The National Position Papers are used to inform our work with and on behalf of the sector and sector engagement and our own engagement with government and relevant reviews, inquiries and policy development processes.

The Position Papers will be developed by Community Legal Centres Australia in collaboration with the State and Territory Associations, and through consultation with the sector and related partners and stakeholders where relevant.

The initial list of National Position Papers was informed by our new Strategic Plan, Priorities and Work Plan and developed following consultation with Community Legal Centres Australia’s Advisory Council and State and Territory Associations.

The National Position Papers will provide a useful overview of sector position(s) in key areas and are an efficient way of contributing to the evidence base for use by the sector and government moving forward.

The following National Position Papers have been finalised:

National Data and Research Strategy for Community Legal Centres
