5. Conflict Check

In CLASS there are actually three places where Users can get to the Conflict Check function. The first is designed to be similar to CLSIS, it is via the menu: CLASS / Conflict Check. This can be considered a simple conflict check. The other two methods are via the New Intake Workflow.  This is a 5 step workflow, and the second step is where Additional Parties are added, (either Related or Other parties) and from here you can conflict check these other parties. Step three of intake takes the user to the potential client’s Conflict Check screen. Find out more on the CLASS methods here:

It also should be noted that the CLASS Conflict Check method uses the ‘Search and Sort’ Method.   Fields from CLSIS listed here may either be in the CLASS Search section (above), or the Sort section (below the search and sort border).

CLASS Conflict Check results are Categorised into two Groups, the top Group are ‘Type: Clients’, the Bottom Group are ‘Type: Additional Parties’. If there is a large List of results, and the User needs to inspect ‘Additional Parties’ Click the Triangle Next to ‘Type: Clients’ to hide them, this will show the list of ‘Type: Additional Parties’ underneath. 

Additional Parties are also further divided up into two types in the ‘Party Type’ Column. To Filter to just one or the other, type ‘Other’ or ‘Related’ into the ‘Party Type’ Sort Field, and press enter.
